Decriminalisation of Drugs: From Punishment to Treatment

Health Minister Dzulkefly Ahmad said that Malaysia is making a movement towards the decriminalisation of drugs and reiterated that this does not mean the ‘legalisation of drugs.’ This means the removal of criminal penalties for those who are caught possessing and using a small quantity of drugs for personal use.
