Mellisa McCarthy’s new comedy, Superintelligence, is the latest film to be removed from its theatrical release at the 11th hour to be put on a streaming service. While the decision potentially makes the film more accessible, it also affects talent bonuses that happen when a movie gets a theatrical release.
