While Amazon is king of online retail over in the States, they’ve been very careful about opening shop in Southeast Asia. The e-Commerce landscape here is a whole other beast. Nevertheless, Amazon’s presence in Singapore is bound to disrupt the space, and other players need to be ready to put up a fight with the world’s most powerful retailer.
